MET Healthcare UK has successfully completed an Air Handling Unit (AHU) replacement programme at Queen’s Hospital, delivering a key upgrade to the hospital’s infrastructure.

Our onsite team managed the full scope of works, including planned maintenance (PM), installation, and testing and commissioning (T&C), ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery within a live healthcare environment.

Supporting Critical Healthcare Environments

Air Handling Units are essential to maintaining safe, controlled conditions within hospitals. From air quality and ventilation to temperature control, reliable systems are critical for both patient care and staff wellbeing.

This project was carefully delivered to minimise disruption while improving overall system performance, working closely with hospital teams throughout.

Energy-Efficient, Future-Ready Solutions

The newly installed AHUs provide a more energy-efficient and reliable solution, supporting long-term performance across the site.

Key benefits include:

  • Improved energy efficiency and reduced operational costs
  • Enhanced air quality and environmental control
  • Increased system reliability
  • Infrastructure aligned with modern healthcare standards

The use of modular solutions also supported a more efficient installation process, reducing downtime and enabling a streamlined upgrade.

Delivered by MET Healthcare’s Onsite Team
